Reasons We Care

Our primary focus is to break the stigma of substance use and mental illness by bringing awareness to our communities. Most of the unsheltered population do not choose to be homeless rather this lifestyle has chosen them. Abuse, neglect, and poverty impair chances of success. Many struggle with mental illness, complicated by substance use, preventing daily activities where maintaining a job is impossible. The vicious cycle of poverty, no medication, limited resources, and co-occurring disorders further cripple changes of a self-fulfilling life. All donations support the goal of providing basic needs to improve their quality of life.
