Project Script
Over 2K dollars provided towards bridging the medication gap by Project Script in 2023!
Identify the Need
Inpatient care assists to stabilize mental health and detox, both with options for medication assisted treatment. Inpatient care coordinators discharge to outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use continued treatment.

Part 1
It takes a minimum of 2 weeks or more to get an assessment due to a slim work force. Assessment is required to get to see the doctor to get refill on meds recommended by inpatient providers.

Part 2
High deductibles and copays are impossible without income or deciding if medication is more important than your utilities or rent. Most health market plans have an 8k deductible. Making medications not a priority.
Shai Solution
Project Script was designed to fill the gap where patients are able to get mental health meds as well as physical health meds (high blood pressure, diabetic, and thyroid) until other assistance can be implemented such as NC Med Assist that ship free medications to your home.
